You make that statement with some amount of certainty. I like the sound of it!

Lotus to what degree of certainty do you think the hddvd prg will get the 3rd studio?

I will admit though they need it to survive. I am sure Toshiba and Microsoft know this as well.

Agree 100%. Toshiba has played Mr. Nice-guy entirely too long in this.

You have a 1.0 bluray special LOL!!!! I have returned every one I ever bought. Waiting for 2.0 or fall 08.

Well we should all know which Studio(s) it is fairly shortly. Look for the Wall Street Journal and others to be discussing the Studio(s) and MS fairly soon. It won't mention HD-DVD but I'm sure everyone will be able to read between the lines.

It's going to happen. The real question is:

Does Universal announce BD support tomorrow?

If so it's all over.

If not then they're waiting it out. Will HD-DVD be able to do enough to survive before the 3rd Studio?
