I agree with your original post. While consumers and companies would like to see an end to this war, I definitely do not believe that SONY will pull out. Too much has been invested, and like you said about the PS3 co-existing with the other game consoles, I believe this is what is going to continue with HD DVD and Blu-Ray. It is unfortunate, but that is how I see it as well. Maybe, somehow, something will be learned by both parties. Instead of greed and dollar signs always ruling the thought process, thus always putting the number one target in a position to make a choice and cause confusion, ala the consumer, parties and companies can come together with better solutions. |
