I really have no idea what if any impact this will have since I don't use Photoshop but I thought I'd throw it out there.

Interesting. This just creates another split in the formats. Those few video companies that actually use PCs to author next gen discs are stuck with Blu-ray when it comes to Adobe. But most of the industry uses a MAC platform and DVD Studio Pro (which supports both Blu-ray and HD DVD authoring). Adobe should probably stick to what it's good at...Photoshop, which luckily has nothing to do with Blu-ray or HD DVD.

Adobe is POWERFUL on the Mac platform and their Creative Suite (photoshop, Illustrator, page maker etc...) is HUGE. Blu-ray being the chosen format for Apple, is likely a way for Adobe to get more power into the program and perhaps even better copy protection for the latest versions of the software.
Photoshop is used around here A LOT!!!!

I've always felt the higher storage space of Blu-ray would make it a better choice for the computer world. Hopefully this will pan out (can you guess which camp I am in??)

All I want to know is, when is The St. Valentine Days Massacre coming out in one of these high definition formats? Jason Robards plays the best Al Capone, in my opinion!!

Wow Adobe is in the Blu-Bed now. Anyhow, I saw that someone said that Adobe is mainly in Photoshop, how's about a .pdf file (hello - remember Acrobat, their bread and butter). Anyhow, I can't imagine why any computer based company would choose HD-DVD as a side since the greater capacity lies with Blu-Ray. Just my 2¢...........
