Ah yes, the "Do Androids Dream Of Electric Sheep?" book. Had to read that for a Communications class of all classes. Can't stand Blade Runner though. Sorry, just a little too off the beaten path there for me. If I was forced to watch a 5-disc release, it might be reason enough to kill myself.

Can you comment on the "above the body" experience of Ketamine....
I would assume that taking horsetraquilizers is a bad idea for people....?

Ketamine, a dissociative anesthetic, in the same class of drugs as PCP. Profoundly analgesic, also frequently disphoric and associated with dreams of dismemberment.
This was used by most Vets for animals, but due to increases in recreational use, and vetrinary theft, has gone by the way side for Propofol. Interesting enough, Propofol is know for giving vivid sexual dreams. I have always wanted to do a study of the combination of K and Propofol to see if it gives people vivid sexaul dreams of dismemberment, but never even seriously posed it to any IRB, though I am sure I could get volunteers for the study!

Too late; I believe David Cronenberg's "Crash" already tested these waters. |

timbre4,
Sounds like one I need to see, it's on it's way from Netflix!

See! That wasn't so bad - and you don't have to sit through 5 discs, either!
