Sony Announces BD-Live Commitment

Universal, Warner, and Disney have all announced their plans for BD-Live incorporation on future Blu-ray titles, so naturally Sony must follow suit. Sony Picture Home Entertainment has announced that all future titles with have BD-Live content on them.

Sony saw a positive response to their first BD-Live release, Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story and The Sixth Day. According to Rich Marty, Sony's Vice-President of New Business Development, "20 percent of people who bought the titles are activating BD-Live, and of that20 percent, 75 percent went and downloaded something from the discs."

Well if more profile 2.0 movies are available hopefully that'll make the manufactures get the profile 2.0 players out there.
Isn't the PS3 still the only profile 2.0 player out so far?
