I recently purchased " The Kingdom of Heaven" on Blue-ray and could not get any audio from the disk. When I loaded the disk the audio is fine on the menu screen where you choose to play the movie or go to special features. My Pioneer AV/receiver only supports Dolby Digital and not DTS. Could this be the problem. When I go to the setup screen on the disk it only lists DTS. Is it possible that the disk only has a DTS soundtrack. I never came across that on regular a DVD. I will keep the disk anyway because I am going to get a new receiver soon and I am sure that the newer ones have DTS support.

You likely never had this happen before as most all SD DVD's have both DTS and DD. I don't have this disc, but am surprised it only has DTS.

If your receiver does not have DTS decoding and the disc only has dts then you will not hear any audio tracks. Unfortunately, there's a number of blu-ray discs that are like this.
