I'm no mathematician but it looks like it was 3-1 Blu-Ray last week, & well over 2-1 for the year & since inception.
Or are you going to say Nielson is crazy too?

I would like to see the ratings between mutual titles - right now that's the only real way to judge apples to apples.

What they don't buy movies there so they don't count or they skew your spin so they don't count?

That's just more spin, maybe the movies most people actually want to buy are on Blu-Ray.

Well according to the Nielson chart above that hasn't happened in the 3 weeks since Toshiba's black Friday fire sale

They aren't. Because the new HD DVD owners appear to be buying HD DVDs
Once again look at the Nielson chart, it is still 3-1.

Now here are some interesting numbers - this is the type of stuff that I want to see:
Warner's 3 best selling titles YTD as of Nov. 11

300 100.00 B
300 52.84 H

Ratio: 1.89

The Departed 33.79 B
The Departed 20.60 H

Ratio: 1.64

Planet Earth 29.19 B
Planet Earth 30.71 H

Ratio: 0.95

In similar titles the numbers are close (with the exception of 300). This is the only true type of contrast title vs title. If Disney and Sony keep cranking out more movies - they can't help but sell more titles.

Exactly and if Planet Earth and Harry Potter are being bought more on HD DVD...

That says something loud and clear.

I meant it if you BD people want to win go buy Harry Potter today. Plus Warners says that the majority of their titles are also sold at Wal-Mart where HD DVD apparently does better.

I'm going by the numbers that Warners is talking about which are their official numbers. When it comes to Warner titles for the month the BD lead is like 1.1 to 1.

Also I have the ability to remove titles from the equation and get official numbers. So I can remove the big new releases and see how the catalogs are doing.

This week is not going to be 3-1 because of the near 200k Bourne movie sold.
