Based on your collection of players, I don't think you know what the word 'wait' means. :-)

I have one of these in my system.

It passes the new audio formats perfectly via the HDMI bit stream to my Denon 3808ci receiver. As I mentioned in another posting, Pirates of the Carribean takes 1/20 of the time to "boot up" vs my Sony BDP-S300.

No complaints.

I am now enjoying 2 weeks of Blue Ray on the new Panasonic DMP-BD30 coupled via HDMI Atlona V1.3b cables to an Onkyo TX-SR805 and can say that my expectations are far exceeded. Movies Like "Live Free or Die Hard" and "Flyboys" are fantastic with their DTS HD Master Audio. Watching other Blue Ray titles without DTS HD Master Audio is kind of a let down. I have nothing to compare to with regards to movie start-up time, but it seems like their is no delay with the Panasonic. I highly recommend it.
