Bluray player displays menu screen but wont show video content
I have 2 bluray players that wont display the video but will show the base menu. I also have Direct tv and it plays fine in any of my HDMI inputs. How can the signal from the player work for the basic menu but not show video content when a disc plays?

The problem was simple but not obvious. I needed to turn off all power to the TV and it worked after that.
