I read the review. Weird it doesnít play cd and doesnít output DTS HD master I hear the us model locks up a lot as well. I got the UK model it plays CD very well and outputs DTS HD master through 5.1 analogues. It has never locked up yet. It is a fantastic blu ray player. And very good with music as well. Thanks

eric,

I did the review and that player is still in my main rig, it has never locked up on me. Andrew Robinson has one as well and he has had good luck with his so far too.

It is kind of strange that it doesn't play CD's, but I can live with that as long as the picture is as good as it is!

I agree, I currently use the G98, and hopefully soon the 800v4, but I have a real problem when it comes to upgrades....
