I haven't A-B'd them yet, in fact for now that player is in my bedroom system as my current AV preamp doesn't decode bitstream for these codecs.

I should have the Krell Evo 707 by the end of the month, and will do a comparison once that gets here and let you know my findings.

Positives:
- Half the size of the BDP-S300
- Looks and feel sturdy
- Decodes all format including DTS Master Audio
- Loads faster especially in stand-bymode
- Nice picture

- when tray is open it doesn't close when pressing play, you have to press close to close the player??

i am confused...why is it that the playstation3 is rated as an excellent blue ray player..surely the new 550 must have merit?
i am concidering the p3 as a "temporary measure " until some thing awesome is launced
how does one convert p3 to multi zone?
