... as for the VW, you might get some competition from Silver Supra's ride. I've seen the dyno printouts....
Over 1,000 bHP on race fuel and lots of boost...

I have yet to compare it to my other players, I changed around a bunch of gear in the main rig, and now ordered racks for it too...
I also bought the new Ratchet and Crank Future Tools of Destruction game and sort of got lost in it for the last few days... I love the wireless six axis controller! I am going to try to do some solid listening to the system tomorrow and will try to get some A-B'ing of the two players then. That thing runs HOT!!! I left it on one night and damn! You could feel the heat coming out of the rack!

You gotta watch out for the games, they can take up more time than you planned for!!
I'm surprised your PS3 is running hot, your rack is open right? Mine has been running 24/7 since March doing the folding@Home program & it uses the full power of the PS3 & mine has never been hot, just warm. |

Rack is open, at least on the front and rear with ~10 inches over it.
Oh well, new racks are coming.... They will have better ventilation.

Mine runs very hot. I had to move it away from the other gear. It still runs hot, but a little better. If you even touch any button on the BD remote it will turn the PS3 on and it will stay on until you realize it and turn it off.
They do make cooling devices that you attach to the unit for about 20-25 bucks. I'm considering it. |
