I just finished reviewing the Evo 707 AV preamp for our new site

www.avrev.com

It will post 1/1/2009, read it, I really don't think you'd need to add the preamps, the analog section in this thing is off the charts good, and Krell will tell you it is the second best sounding preamp they have ever made, you might gain a tad with the better pre, but not worth it for the money. Go listen to the Krell Evo 707. When you do, you will see you have the best of both worlds in one box!

Dan's top of the line is for people with really deep pockets!!

$30K is a lot of cabbage!!

But Krell is some of the best just not for the working class..
