Default Europe Sees Pioneer Gear Rollout This Fall

Pioneer is set to launch a number of products in Europe this fall. They have made announcements for: four Home Theater Cinema Systems (three which include Blu-ray players), four standalone Blu-ray players (one which is Profile 2.0), three KURO LCDs, four KURO Plasmas, and a Media Receiver. US product release announcement to hopefully follow soon.

We'll be expanding our home cinema product portfolio with four new systems that complement the high quality and premium design of our renowned KURO flat screen TVs.

Building on the success of last year’s LX01, the portfolio includes:

LX01BD: Blu-ray Disc Home Cinema System with Omni-Directional Speakers
LX03BD: Blu-ray Disc Home Cinema System with 5.1 AV Receiver and Satellite Speakers
LX08BD: Blu-ray Disc Home Cinema System with 5.1 AV Receiver
LX03: DVD Home Cinema System with Satellite Speakers

The LX03, LX03BD and LX08BD home cinema systems will be available in October; the LX01BD in November.

When combined with an ‘HD ready 1080p’ KURO TV and our latest AV Receivers, these high-end BD players immerse the most demanding home cinema aficionado in a seeing and hearing experience like never before.

4 new Blu-ray Disc players will be introduced:

BDP-LX91: LX Line Reference Blu-ray disc player (BD-Live / Profile 2.0)
BDP-LX08: LX Line ‘Designer’ Blu-ray disc player (BonusView / Profile 1.1)
BDP-LX71: LX Line Blu-ray disc player (BonusView / Profile 1.1)
BDP-51FD: Blu-ray disc player (BonusView / Profile 1.1)

The BDP-LX71 will be available in September. The BDP-51FD and the BDP-LX08 will arrive in October; the BDP-LX91 later on in winter.

New KURO plasma televisions and monitors will be available in Europe from September.

These include KURO plasma TVs with a separate media receiver:

50-inch KRP-500A
60-inch KRP-600A
and KURO plasma monitors:

50-inch KRP-500M
60-inch KRP-600M

All new models are ‘HD ready 1080p’ and feature the exceptional black levels that have become synonymous with the KURO brand. With a thin depth of 64 mm the screens look more sleek and elegant than ever, be it wall-mounted or on a stand. Their glossy black KURO-style design contributes handsomely to any interior decor without distracting.

The new 64 mm TV models with separate media receiver have inherited the inner workings and features of the recently launched one-body Full HD KURO plasma TVs - delivering uncompromised quality, finely-tuned performance and intelligent design.

Our KURO monitor range follows in these footsteps and offers excellence to those who demand nothing but the best plasma screen. Incomparable black levels and extreme contrast make both ranges prime candidates for use in a private home theatre, a living room or a professional setting.

The KRP-600M will be available as of August followed by the KRP-600A in September. The KRP-500A and KRP-500M will be in shops by October.

You can now enjoy an advanced Optimum AV mode for intelligent automatic image adjustment, ideal in case of varying content and changing viewing conditions. However, if you are very sensitive to picture purity, the new PURE AV selection mode reproduces images as faithfully as possible to the original source material, bypassing all typical picture enhancement processing.

Three KURO-branded Full HD LCD TVs will be available in Europe from August.

The LCDs feature an upscale design and come with a high-contrast front filter, three HDMI ports and 100Hz processing to offer an unparalleled fast-moving picture performance.

The line-up includes the:

32-inch KRL-32V
37-inch KRL-37V
46-inch KRL-46V

Our award-winning KURO plasma TVs have been described as the best in the world. With these new LCD TVs, we want to offer increased flexibility and fulfil the demand for a premium HD experience regardless of home environment or screen size.

By taking full advantage of our extensive plasma know-how, our LCD TVs will deliver industry-leading black levels and 1080p performance. The result is an LCD picture that closely matches the visual experience of a plasma picture.

The KRL-32V and KRL-37V LCD TVs will be available in August. The 46-inch version will become available later this year. is offline   Reply With Quote

Default Re: Europe Sees Pioneer Gear Rollout This Fall

Is TrueHD an indication of sound or picture quality? I know that full HD means 1920x1080p but at some commercial leaflets i see TV monitors just for that it introduced.
