Deleted Scenes are the only ones we watch regularly.
Transformers has some good web-based interactive stuff on it.
And, I only watched that because I wanted to see if the new LG firmware update really added the option.

I for one can't remember the last time I watched any extras, so I doubt I will suddenly change my ways and need internet capability for the latest trailers etal...

I am happy for a Blu-ray player (well, I actually own three now, soon a fourth) that does excellent video and audio.

I agree with you as well. Like usual, your on top of stuff. There have been a few dvd`s I say at the time of purchase to myself, that the extras would be interesting to check out, then, I never do.

No. It doesn't have the required hardware such Ethernet. Doesn't have DTS-HD MA, or DTS-HD MA bitstream either.

You can bet that any player that *is* upgradeable, the manufacturer will be letting you know and certainly pushing that as a selling feature.

I agree that profile 2.0 is somewhat useless. I couldn't care less about internet connectivity or special features.

The only good thing about internet connectivity is to be able to upgrade software like the PS3

Good point. Internet connectivity certainly makes upgrades easier. But as far as using it to enhancing special feature playback I have yet to see anything interesting. I also don't tend to look at special features - maybe one disc in 100 if it's something that really interests me.
