Well I can look at past performance of the GT titles with attachment rates.

WB was making a decision based on who offered them the biggest deal. How was I to know that Sony would offer them what is considered to be worth $500M? While it wasn't a check it ammounted to that kind of worth. Subsidized BD50s, portions of patent income, etc.

XBOX LIVE is just flat out cool and pretty much in most cases the trump card to titles that are on both platforms. Owning both (well we have a PS3 dev kit anyway) in my household we only by 360 versions. This is only because of XBOX LIVE. Generally the graphics are ever slightly in the 360's favor.

Don't you have to pay to play on-line with Xbox? I voted with my money - PS3 it is.

Yeah I think it comes out to like $5 a month or something. For that you get the most stable on-line service there is. PS can't touch LIVE. You have much less "lag," related problems on the Live service. More users on LIVE too and that makes finding competitive games better.

I've tried both, and the On-Line abilities of LIVE are tons better.

Well Google Xbox live outages & you get 269,000 hits, including a lawsuit about a 2 week outage over Xmas break!! LOL!!
I play my PS3 online all the time with driving games over a wireless router with no lags & no outages.
Once Home is rolled out you will have all kinds of new features on the PSN.

But Xbox live is defiantly worth the $5 a month.

Oh and New rumors all over about a $299 PS3 that could be coming sooner than expected.

Rumor: PS3 set to receive yet another price drop - $299

According to a few posters at 'SlickDeals' a website which specializes in reporting the latest prices of various electronics products, the PS3 is set to receive yet another price cut and will go down to as low as $299 on January 28th.

I figured a price drop was coming but I wasn't expecting it this soon!
