Prince Sues fans for You Tube postings

I wonder what effect the RIAA had on this by suing their consumers?

I wonder what effect people like Lars Ulrich (from Metallica) has on people not relating to today's music anymore? He has MILLIONS of dollars in art hanging on the wall but sold out SO BADLY to get there that his fans can't relate to him bitching about downloads. Perhaps if Metallica could still write a song that had some balls - they would get people to buy their music? What if they told their label to release ALL of their music in high res? Anything to support the fans - not line their pockets.

He gives the CD away but sues fans for giving him FREE publicity. I think he sold out after 1999. Myth buster: Purple Rain is a piece of dog **** with terrible acting and when he pulls up on his motorcycle he looks like a muppet named Weekend Warrior. He's always good for a couple of good songs but I think he believes he poots genius because then we're stuck with the rest of the CD/DVD/gag induction.
To me Prince's genius has always been a pale imitation of Todd Rundgren's.
