Does anyone know when the next boxed set of Beatles albums is coming out?

If it was on Blu-ray in 24-192 I would pay $999 without batting an eyelash...

I would agree with Jerry on this. After hearing the Beatles' "Love" in 5.1 on DVD-A it was like listening to these songs as new all over again. Hopefully this music will be re-re-released in a high resolution disc format in my lifetime, but I'm not holding my breath.

While I totally enjoy the "Love" DVD-A, I read some interesting comments in Sound And Vision top 50 albums where they say that if you can find the original mono recording of Sgt. Pepper's band, it outshines the stereo mix.

Well, they could be true saints and allow the masses to hear the original mono and stereo mixes by placing them on the BD. Remember the Pet Sounds DVD-A? Ooh, I hope that will also become available again in a high-resolution format that's still supported!
