That voice from Nightwish

I was always a fan of the metal/rock outfit Nightwish but to be honest after their record Once I kind of stopped listening to them for awhile. Then when I heard Tarja Turunen was release a solo record from my co worker at fontana I was really curious. It is a given that her voice is amazing but just wanted to see how her solo record would be. From what I've heard through her mysapce page (http://www.myspace.com/tarjaturunen) it's pretty damn good. The songs are memorable and hold so much strength to them. Their is always the contrast between her vocals and her accompanying music but it works well. It's definitely good to see her do well as a solo artist.

She sings, she's pretty and she has a record deal... something that's very unique on this planet.
