Live from Artesia, it's The White Stripes!
 

I just read how The White Stripes filmed the video for their new single, "Conquest", somewhere in Artesia, CA. Although I was born in Inglewood, the first house I lived in was in Artesia. As the news blurb explains it, Jack White plays some kind of bullfighter. I realize there is no true basis for my pride, but just knowing Jack White choose my hometown to make a video makes me feel cooler than I really am. Ole!
