I would appreciate any input from the Sony SXRD owners on how to improve the standard def. picture quality on the 70" set. The HD, BD, and DVD performance is excellent. I own the set already, but disappointed with the SD performance for $5k.

I don't think so, they showed @ EHX in Orlando and CEDIA, had a small show @ CES this year though a great and fun lunch!

I love the Sony Bravia KDL-46XBR2, it's the best all around HDTV. The picture looks incredibly lifelike (like looking through a window) after I adjusted it, using the GetGray calibration DVD. I highly recommend it. The new XBR4, it should even be better, I just hope Sony didn't skinny up on the number of adjustments. The other manufacturers don't have nearly the scope of adjustments as the Bravia XBR.
