DYNACO

When i was a teen, the amps of fame and glory were, Mcintosh, Crown, and Dynaco. At least in my small circle. Dynacos were big, powerful, clean, and built well. Most of the deejays I knew had them. I always wanted one, but could not convince mom and dad to do it.

Anyone remember these classic Dynaco units?

My stepfather has a stereo 70 on AR3a speakers.

My good friend Bob Rapoport many moons ago - brought Dynaco back from the dead as a company.

People LOVED this stuff. It was like Audio Research on a budget. Now they are in the where are they now file...

Oh God Jerry, AR3a speakers. My first Stereo hi-fi show was at the Statler Hotel in Manhattan. That, is when I first heard the series of AR speakers. I was in high school then, and they sounded great. You just brought back great memorires with your statement.

Yeah, I guess it was Audio research on a budget. Never thought of it that way. Great stuff.......... Miss some of this old gear.

BTW, where are they now? I need to research this.................
