That does say something to me. While, as i stated, I have not heard a NuForce amplifier, I am very familiar with Spectral. Supremely well performing, high quality, and some of the cleanest amplification I have ever heard. So, I don`t know how much that helped, but that would let me want to hear one even more right now.
I must also state, that it has been some time between listens. As Spectral dealers are hard to find here in Westchester, or New York in Manhattan. At one time, Lyric Hi-Fi carried the Spectral line.

Hi Deacongreg,

I think their Ref 9SE V2 is worth a listen especially if you're willing to find the right cables to compliment its transparent and neutral character. Many reviewers have used these amps as their reference amps. Example is Mike Silverton w/ Stereotimes who replaced his Mark Levinson No. 33H monoblock towers ($25K) with these little critters driving his Wilson Watt Puppies to great effect: I don't think anyone can accuse these Levinsons to be posers and not take them seriuosly. Still, what matters most is how a system sounds in your own room with your own set up in addition to one's own preference.

Enjoy the music,

Yes kenobi,

I definitely agree with you. And we do have, including myself, some Levinson fans here at the forum.
