Listen to all of them you can and with material you are familiar with, if you can take them home to demo with your rig, this is the ultimate test, and buy what sounds best to you. Every one hearing and likes are different.
Let your ears decide for you. Now if you can't hear them it's a different story....

Could not have said it better. Though I will add that I sold Adcom, and at the time, and probably still now, for great sound, price, and performance, they are hard to beat.
But kennyt is right, enjoy the process, and pick a winner. Jerry Del schooled me on Emotiva. They make or build products for some of the big boys. So, listen, and decide. |

Now I'm wondering if I did my homework. I just purchased a used Aragon 2005, later I saw the internals on some websites and they indeed do not look like they were built nearly as good as the older Aragon amplifier models. Did I infact buy a Mondial Acurus for $500 more dollars than necessary? and for just a fancy blue lighted panel? Can anyone vouch for the sound? - and please don't give me a bunch of meaningless adjectives. God why can't buying decent equipment be made simple. I assume things would be simpler if we could all afford to purchase Conrad Johnson stuff all of the time. Hey, maybe Obama will give us all some free Shindo stuff because we were tricked into buying things that were sold not as promised???
