Proceed opinions please
I have a Proceed HPA-3 that lost one of it's 3 channels. The remaining 2 channels operate just fine - and are completely independant (boards, power supplies, etc). I am planning on selling it as-is.
Perfect examples seem to sell for around $2350, HPA-2's (which mine basically is now) sell for around $1300. My question is - what do you think a reasonable price to ask would be? TIA Jim |
Re: Proceed opinions please
Jim,
I would offer it for a grand as the two channels left are good and likely will be so for a while... |

Thanks Ken - that's what I'm thinking too. |
Re: Proceed opinions please
I would normally suggest that you send the amp back and get it repaired to get the max price but I know the HPA3 is a HEAVY amp and the shipping alone might cost you $300 - assuming you still have the box.
If you can find a buyer for $1000 take it |
Re: Proceed opinions please
Have you opened it up and checked fuses? I have an Amp2 that also has seperate supplies for each channel, and each channel is fused. You might be able to return it to a BPA3 with only a few bucks invested.
