I own one.

Built like a brick ****house...

Talk about an MOV. This is something a bolt of lightening can't just smoke.

I'm torn between a RGPC and the audiophile APS 1050. I would need at least 6 outlets(pre/pro, ps3, cd player, t.v., and cable box). I really like the solid build of the RGPC. Would the RGPC take a surge/spike once then allow the rest of them to pass through or would it still keep working? I'm also confused as to what it actually does. Is it a surge protector? power conditioner? regenerator?
