Default Panamax Offers Free Home Theater Power Management Training at CEDIA 2007

Panamax to Offer Free Home Theater Power Management Training Sessions at CEDIA EXPO 2007 in Denver

Panamax/Furman Sound, a world-leading provider of AC power management solutions, today announced that Marshall Currier will be giving two free training sessions at CEDIA EXPO 2007 in Denver. The 90-minute sessions, entitled "Panamax Home Theater Power Solutions," will be held at the Hyatt Hotel on Thursday, Sept. 6, at 2 p.m. in Mineral Hall C, and Friday, Sept. 7, at 10 a.m. in Capitol Ballroom 7. In his presentation, Currier will discuss the use and integration of multiple power management products, including Panamax's new MAX™ PM family and M7500-PRO.

Today's sophisticated home theater systems are bombarded with a great deal of interference and noise, which can degrade the overall performance of the systems. In order for installers to provide their customers with a stunning home theater experience, comprehensive power filtering and conditioning is no longer an option — it's a necessity.

The training sessions offer a continuing education unit (CEU) value of .375, and by attending, installers will learn to use and integrate multiple power management products for filtration, protection, backup, and distribution in complex or multiple-zone systems. One of the featured products will be the M7500-PRO, which eliminates all types of contamination, including ground loop issues, ensuring a rich, vibrant audio/visual experience for the customer. Currier will also provide information on how to use a variety of in-wall products and how to isolate outdoor applications such as speakers and keypads.

In addition, each free session will feature a drawing for a free M5400-PM, which offers linear filtration for the clearest sound and image quality possible from home theater components, noise isolation among five isolated outlet banks, and sequential startup/shutdown to prevent internally generated voltage transients that occur when components are powered on or off at the same time.

Currier has been involved with the consumer electronics industry for nine years and is an ISF-certified video system calibrator. Throughout his career he has developed training curricula for training/sales programs across multiple CE dealers for several Tier 1 vendors, including Panamax, Sony, Samsung, and Pioneer.
