No, this is not snake oil. I'm using porter ports ac outlets from Albert Porter from over on audiogon forum and they were a lot better than the very cheap outlets that came with house. I believe ac outlets are the most overlooked things in a stereo system and one of the weak links too. When you replace those very cheap outlets with higher priced and better outlets for your whole stereo system, its like taking a blanket off your speakers, its that big of a difference in some systems! The porter ports are one of the best on the market that you can buy but what I'm hearing on some of the other forums, these Maestro outlets are said to be a lot better than the porter ports. Some have said they are a real eye opener!
