Thank you I agree completely they are nuts! But some people believe in that as well as the fact that you need to elevate cables from the floor, magic fluid to spray your CDs with, to make them sound better, silver speaker cables at 10,000 for 6 feet pair and so on.... Total ripoff but hey, if some people are dumb enough to spend their money on bogus stuff it's a free country. And then you wonder why the market is in the states it is in?

Well, there are various luxury products like, planes, homes, cars, watches, etc. that all are sold at ridiculous prices and with dubious actual improvement over the common egg. But they are still revered as being the very best attainable, regardless!

Yeah. It's funny how hi-end audio gets totally picked on whereas other high-end items (like purses and shoes) are seen as a necessity!

While I agree, they can both be created with varying technologies and degrees of greed. But if you have money, and desire, then they both become the same - commodities.
