While we are in the midst of finding out, which of the different systems are best for you rig at home, I just received PS Audio`s DVD entitled "Coal to Coltrane". This DVD presentation is a history of AC power, it is fun and informative. It is free from PS Audio, and I think all of you will gain some insight. Its available at PS Audio - Building products we want to own

Perhaps this is not the place to ask, but what is considered "overvoltage"? There are areas (like mine) where the daytime voltage seems to range from 115 to 125v during the day and peaks to 130-135v in the evening. Obviously I am concerned about my MediaCenter PC, plasma TV, etc.
What is considered "overvoltage" and what devices are you using to combat it? I currently have an APC Back-UPS HT 1500VA which claims to do power conditioning as well as UPS functions, but am not sure that its an optimal solution. |

this time i had to fill out a questionaire for a consultation. at the end it simply said
"Thanks for your submission. We will be in contact with you by email shortly with our recommendations for your system." so how do they know where to send the disc to if they never ask for an adress? |
