OK, if the HD DVD Promotional Group would have taken the numbers from the week of Wal-martís $98 sale, a pie chart would look something like 95% HD DVD vs. 5% Blu-ray.
These pie charts are specifically from a period when Blu-ray cut prices to $300 through the Warner announcement. They donít include all of the 4th quarter 2007 and they end right before Toshibaís recent price cuts.
Yes, this selective time period looks very good for Blu-ray. HD DVD sales have rebounded since the price cuts however.
