Yes. Go the extra mile and get HDMI. If you're thinking of upgrading to a HD-DVD or 1080 or higher (coming sooner than most people think) for your TV, than HDMI is the wave of the future. It may cost you a few bucks more, but down the road you'll be glad you did. Currently I have a Denon AVR-4802. Unfortunately it has no HDMI connections, but in my estimation is one of the best receivers out there and can be bought for way under its original MSRP. If you choose to go that route, make sure you get one with the upgraded remote (RC-8000). The remote is amazing. It can be set up with codes and is also a learning remote.
