Just caught a couple of programs on Smithsonian HD last week and couldn't agree more, absolutely fabulous! Jerry is right about the Food Channel HD, only problem is that now the missus wants to watch it in the living room rather than on her 15" SD set in the kitchen! Unfortunately (for me, at least) she doesn't have room there for an HD receiver and we just spent a small fortune completely renovating that kitchen last year.
