Your receiver should have a single RCA preout on it for the subwoofer. Most mid-end subwoofers have a line level and speaker terminal inputs. You won't be using the speaker terminals. All you should need is a single RCA male jack to single RCA male jack - receiver to subwoofer. You might be seeing 2 rca jacks on the back of the sub, in which case you just use the one labelled L (Mono).
