Glanced over it, but it sounds liek there are some problems. A muddy sound is what I saw a major drawback.

Also, kennyT you're right, it is definitely a European model. Kenwood generally places a "D" at the end of the model numbers for Europe. ie: the VR-5900 here in the USA is known as the KFR-X995D in Germany. Also, if you look at the back of the unit you can see the power consumption. Everything is based on 230V, and you can see the switched plugs on the back are European standard.
