I wonder if these are older Mirage speakers back from the early 1990s? I sold them then (and blew up a few pairs in formative moments of my youth).
I would put a call into Klipshch on this one however as I can't defintively answer your question.
Is it possible somebody did a bunch of mods to these speakers?
