As far as fidelity and accuracy in RPTVs the Samsung HL-S and HL-T series DLP RPTVs are capable of delivering the best pictures, but of course you will need to have it calibrated to realize that potential.
I was planning to get the 73833, but after reading your feedback about picture quality, (which I came across while googling!) I am now a bit hesitant about the Mits 833. Which RPTV in your opinion, is the BEST choice for Picture Quality, Big Size & Future Proofing (xvColor, DeepColor, 24fps, 120Hz, HDMI 1.3 etc etc...)
