Re: What is the best Blu-ray player on the market right now?
I have never feared multiple players. I find most all universal players make some compromise in one or more of the supported formats, so I would advocate seperates.
Yes, I do this and tolerate the cabling...
My main rigs currently runs a Sony BDP-S1, Toshiba HD-XA2, Teac Esoteric DV-50s (SACD/CD/DVD-A) and a Meridian G98DH (CD/DVD-A) I use which ever player (DV-50 or G98) for CD's and DVD-A as the mood strikes me and each other player for it's own format. It does make rack space a potential issue, but I am willing to pay that price for the best sound/video.
