Re: Adobe chooses Blu-Ray
Yes Adobe has their hands in many software programs (especially since they bought out Macromedia). However, the invideo industry rarely uses Adobe Premiere and their line of products for production. Hence, why should be care that Adobe has "chosen" Blu-ray (I wouldn't doubt a monetary kick down may have been involved)? Final Cut Pro/Compressor serves over to DVD Studio Pro which allows you to author both formats. Yes, Blu-ray has the larger disc capacity and thus a natural choice. But I highly doubt that software companies are going to decide which of the formats is going to be the "winner". Personally, I don't think there is going to be a winner.
