I am that guy too.

Got a PS3 on day one ($3000 - ouch) the XA1 on day one, samsung bdp1000, XA2 I got a little later. I even got an iPod before they came out - MAN was I floored.

I figure the readers want to know if the hottest gear is worth the money.
