Whatever looks good and thick. I have put thicker cables on my DVD player to NILES splitter box. The biggest upgrade I noticed was when I replaced the power cord on my OPPO universal digital disc player. It had a real cheap ungrounded cable that came with it. I just went to the shack, found a thicker cable with a 3 prong plug, after I swapped them out, I really noticed a difference in the quality of the Oppo. I have a Monster thick power cord that I got, but it was too long, Think that I will use it for my guitar amp.
