Re: Do you use HDMI for your audio?
OK,
Let me clarify again....
My reference rig uses a Meridian 861v4, the best (hands down) sounding pre/pro I have found. For now, it doesn't have an HDMI MCA input. Hopefully all that will change in the next few months....
My bedroom system uses a receiver, and as you might be aware, receivers seem to be the forefront of the tech battle, so I can run uncompressed 5.1 PCM to my receiver and do so in that system.
Hopefully soon I will have an HDMI in card for my Meridian, and a receiver that does all the new formats in my bedroom and I will then be running MCA via HDMI in both systems.
Make sense??
