The aac format iTunes uses is far from the highest fidelity, aiff, flac and
wave are far less compressed. I use Nero Media
Hub on my PC and Meridian Media Player on my Droid Incredible phone.
My surround receiver is a Yamaha RX-V661 and my speakers are Polk.
