The price of a CD is a definite factor.In Canada,a price of between $20.00 to $26.00 for a new album is not unusual.Older albums culd probably be between $12.00 t0 $18.00.Greed and stupidity are an important factor in the decrease sales of CD'S.Too many parasites,in other words,middlemen and the likes of them in the music industry.Not as well organized as the video industry.I have heard of downloadable MP3 music for a price,but no CD'S.MP3 in and inferior product,as far as music quality is concerned.CD downloading online would probably boosts sales a lot.
