It seems silly to ask but there are rules for setting up you speakers for you system. So it stands to reason that there must be someone that could let me know about this too.

The center of the screen should be at eye level, if you have to look up to see the screen it's too high.
The only place a TV should be mounted higher is in a bedroom where you are laying down in bed to watch it.
