I think so. Are you saying that as long as the player decodes; i.e., DTS-HD, then that signal is passed to the receiver and the receiver will pass the untouched signal on to the speakers? Is that right? For clairity, are you sayng it makes no difference whether or not the receiver does the decoding.

If so, does that mean the receiver has to be set to Stream Direct (which may be Elite terminology) or set to PCM?
