This is an old review but I remember this component VERY fondly.

When I started AVRev.com (called AudioRevolution.com then as we didn't really do video) I worked out of an apt in Los Angeles near CBS' "Television City" and near where the Grove is today. I had a Mark Levinson system with Wilson WATT Puppy 5.1 speakers in pearl white and some Sunfire subwoofers.

This Z-systems eq when tuned by Bob Hodas made my system do BACK FLIPS. It was a night and day difference. YES, it has some problems and was complicated to use and program but once you got it going - you could make an odd room in an apartment sound really good.
