I own a pr of BP7000SC & BP7001SC.
I've listened to the Paradigm S8 & DT Mythos ST only at the dealers, not at home.
First, the S8 doesn't even compare to the ST in terms of bass. I think the S8 only goes down to (maybe realistically) 50Hz.
Second, The ST's bass output is less than the 7001SC, which is less than the 7000SC. For music, the ST's bass is adequate. But for true thunderous movie bass, it is not.
Third, I thought the 7000SC & 7001SC sounded (Bass, Midrange, Tweeter) a lot better than the S8 and also better than the ST, but it was NOT a fair or true comparison because they were NOT even in the same ROOM.
