Last night when I turned on my ViP622 Dish Network receiver, a new message popped up and said "you can now hook up a USB 2.0 enabled hard drive and download your shows and store them on the drive". I was stoked. YOu have to pay $39.99 one time fee to enable this and then you have to let Dish Network software format your drive, but you can use any drive from 60 to 750gigs to download shows off and store them. It's pretty damn cool. I'll let everyone know how it works once I get a big drive and format it properly.
