From Engadget,
At this point it seems that the only one not talking about how well Iron Man sold on Blu-ray is Paramount, as Adam's Research tells Video Business that the Blu-ray version of Iron Man managed to take 20 percent of the market share away from DVD. This number confirms our estimates that Blu-ray market share has doubled since HD DVD demise. The previous record holder, I Am Legend, that was released around the time HD DVD called it quits, only manged 9 percent. We have to say that this even exceeds our expectations though, and although there is no doubt that this title fits in the Blu-demographic, it once again is some indication that the future might just be Blu after all.

You know, this is all very interesting. I believe, there is still some remorse out there, from the HD DVD/BLU-RAY war, fight, scandal, whatever you want to call it. People and consumers have been burned a few times now. And this one, with DTV and HD on the rise, the timing was horrible. So, while I like what happened with Iron Man, I think we still have a while before all folks jump in, and buy, once again a whole new library.
We must remember, we are the audio/videophiles, the rest or majority, are not going to keep getting beat up, and them jump into the fray, without some doubt.
